CSR Initiatives
H-Energy considers itself as an entity committed to the betterment of the society and the welfare of the masses. We are strong believers that with our commitment, we can bring a sea of change in the lives of the people which will directly or indirectly benefit the society at large. With an aim of having a bird's eye view about the needs of the society, we appointed the National CSR team of TISS to carve out a community needs and perception study.
The study helped us carry out certain programs for easing the lives of the people. Here are a few of our initiatives.
Donation of an oxygen concentrator
As part of its commitment towards its social responsibilities, H- Energy and Hoegh LNG were honoured to be able to provide aid to the people of Abloli village, Guhagar, Ratnagiri district, through the donation of an oxygen concentrator- a much needed piece of equipment during the Covid pandemic.
The primary health care centre serves as the main medical facility for the 3000 inhabitants of not only Abloli, but also the eight villages nearby, situated in about a radius of ten kilometres. This centre, which is staffed by full-time doctors and medical staff, is operated under the Maharashtra State Health Ministry.
There was a small ceremony on 19th January 2022, attended by the grateful villagers as well as representatives of H-Energy Jaigarh site, and the oxygen concentrator was handed over to the medical centre.
The company was happy to be able to serve the local community in this manner.
Distribution of IT products to School
The Zilla Parishad schools located in Kundli, Sade, Jambhari, Vaghavali, Dodavali villages in Guhaghar district were provided with facilities such as computers, projectors, printers to make them equipped with the technologies that will ease the teaching for the students. Similar work is being undertaken for the schools in the villages of Palpene, Shiv, and Talavali
Drinking water pipeline connection
The company installed a drinking water pipeline connection for the Zilla Parishad school in Dodovali village.
Sponsorship for Ratnagiri Paryatan Mohotsav
The idea of the event was to promote tourism and add more small scale businesses in the belt, thereby generating employment.
Skill development and other initiatives
Along with other projects to facilitate the ease of living, the company is also considering setting up a skill development centres in various villages.
Repairs and development works
H-Energy, under its CSR initiative undertook the repairs of the compound wall and the development of a garden for a Marathi school in the village of Sakhri Budruk.
