Jaigarh 1st December 2021

H-Energy is starting commercial operations of India’s first FSRU-based LNG Regasification Terminal located at Jaigarh on the west coast of India in March 2022 and the natural gas supply to its customers commencing from April 2022.

H-Energy has chartered Höegh Giant FSRU for a period of 10-Years. The FSRU is arriving at the Jaigarh port in February 2022. It has a storage capacity of 1,70,000 m3 and can regasify up to 6 MMPTA of LNG.

H-Energy’s LNG Regasification Terminal is an all-weather deep-water facility with a breakwater of 710 meters and night navigation capabilities. It has a dedicated LNG Jetty with a draft of 15 meters. The Regasification Terminal is capable of receiving LNG vessels up to Q-Flex Class size.

The LNG Regasification Terminal at Jaigarh is strategically located to supply natural gas to Western, Northern and Southern markets of India, as it is connected to the National Gas Grid at Dabhol through a 56-kms Jaigarh – Dabhol Tie-in pipeline (JDPL). In June 2021, H-Energy has completed the construction of JDPL, which is connected to the Dahej Uran Panvel Dabhol (DUPL) Natural Gas Pipeline at Dabhol.
