Western Concessions Private Limited (formerly known as H-Energy Gateway Private Limited), a wholly owned subsidiary of H-Energy is setting up an LNG re-gasification project at Jaigarh in the State of Maharashtra. The project is to be implemented in 2 phases. Phase – I will consist of a jetty based FSRU of 4.0 mmtpa capacity, which is expected to start in the fourth quarter of 2018. In Phase-II a land based regasification terminal with an ultimate capacity of 8.0 mmtpa has been planned. This terminal will be implemented after the successful completion and stabilization of Phase-I. H-Energy is in an advanced stage of execution of Phase-I of the project. Jetty construction work for the project has commenced at Jaigarh Port and it is expected to be completed by Q-4 2018. The company has acquired land for the onshore receiving facility close to the Jetty where the FSRU will be moored and has started work on the Jaigarh to Dabhol tie-in pipeline which will carry re-gasified LNG to the Natural Gas Grid of GAIL at Dabhol. The company has kicked off two major milestone of the re-gasification project by signing FSRU agreement with ENGIE for chartering its FSRU for a minimum period of 5 years and has also awarded the EPCM contract to Engineers India Ltd (EIL) for constructing 60 km tie-in pipeline from Jaigarh port to Dabhol. The terminal is expected to commence its commercial operations by Q4 2018.
H-Energy through its wholly owned subsidiary, Western Concessions Private Limited is on advanced stage to commission India’s first FSRU (Floating Storage and Re-Gasification Unit) based LNG terminal project at Jaigarh Port, in Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra. The project is to be implemented in 2 phases. Phase – I consists of a jetty based FSRU of 5.0 MMTPA capacity. In Phase-II, a land based LNG terminal with an ultimate capacity of 8.0 MMTPA has been planned. This terminal will be implemented after the successful completion and stabilization of Phase-I. The LNG terminal at Jaigarh will connect to the national gas grid at Dabhol through a 57 km tie-in pipeline.
H-Energy has partnered with Höegh LNG for supply of FSRU to be delivered to the project site at Jaigarh in Q1 2021. The FSRU has a storage capacity of 170,000 m3 and is capable of reloading LNG onto other LNG vessels and providing bunkering services. The terminal is being developed in accordance with the highest international safety and engineering standards. Upon the delivery of the FSRU, H-Energy will commission its Jaigarh LNG regasification terminal project in April 2021.
