Natural Gas Pipeline Project

H-Energy’s Natural Gas Pipeline Projects

H-Energy is focused on creating LNG receiving infrastructure in the country which included LNG receiving terminals and natural gas pipeline infrastructure. It is our firm belief that natural gas should be made available to the end consumers by providing last mile connectivity through laying of natural gas pipeline in areas which have been deprived of the benefits of the natural gas so far.

In line in with its philosophy of connecting new demand centres to the exiting gas grid, in March 2015 H-Energy initiated the process of natural gas pipeline infrastructure creation by proposing two natural gas pipelines one each on the West Coast and East Coast of India by submitting Expressions of Interest to the Petroleum & Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB). After following the due process of public consultation PNGRB invited bids for both of these pipeline projects in March 2016.

Following the tender tender process H-Energy emerged as the successful bidder and  has been awarded the authorization by PNGRB to lay, build and operate the Jaigarh – Mangalore natural gas pipeline. The pipeline will be approximately 635 km and will connect H-Energy’s Jaigarh LNG receiving terminal to the demand centres in the coastal towns and cities of Ratnagiri, Goa, Karwar, Udupi and Mangalore.

H-Energy has also emerged as the successful bidder for Contai – Dattapulia – Jajpur – Dhamra – Cuttack – Paradip pipeline, the authorisation for the same is awaited from PNGRB. The pipeline length will be approximately 715 km and it will connect H-Energy’s offshore Digha FSRU project to major demand centres in West Bengal and Odisha. The pipeline will also connect to to the Bangladesh gas pipeline network at India-Bangladesh border near Dattapulia and enable regasified LNG from H-Energy’s FSRU project to be transported to customers in Western Bangladesh.

West Coast Natural Gas Pipeline Project

Jaigarh-Goa-Mangalore Natural Gas Pipeline Project
H-Energy has been awarded the authorization for laying, building and operation Jaigarh-Mangalore Natural Gas Pipeline by PNGRB on 28th June 2016. H-Energy will initiate the work on this pipeline soon and is committed to complete the pipeline by Q2 2019 to ensure gas availability to customers along this pipeline.

The total length of the pipeline will be approximately 635 km and it will connect H-Energy’s Jaigarh LNG reciving terminal to the demand centers in the coastal towns and cities of Ratnagiri, Goa, Karwar, Udupi and Mangalore. Regasified LNG flowing through this pipeline will act as a key source of clean energy for industries, homes and vehicles in these coastal towns and cities fuelling economic growth in these areas.
