H-Energy to lay 60Km pipeline connecting its Jaigarh terminal to Dhabol

The PNGRB has approved H-Energy Gateway Pvt Ltd’s proposal to connect its Jaigarh LNG terminal to Dabhol. This allows H-Energy, a Hiranandani Group firm, to connect its LNG re-gasification terminal at Jaigarh, (Ratnagiri district) in Maharashtra with Dahej-Uran-Dabhol-Panvel (DUDPL) and Dabhol-Bangalore (DBPL) pipelines.
Jaigarh presently has 5 MMTPA Dabhol LNG import terminal of GAIL. H-Energy LNG receipt facility at Jaigarh to Dabhol to tie-in with the two pipelines will give H-Energy to reach more customers along the two pipelines. The capacity of Jaigarh LNG terminal in phase I is approx. 4.0 MMTPA, H-Energy have plans to expand the capacity in Phase II. H-Energy plans to operate the Jaigarh terminal on a mix of merchant and tolling basis.
H-Energy plans to lay a natural gas pipeline from Jaigarh to Mangalore to meet the natural gas requirement of the coastal stretch of Panjim, Karwar, Murudeshwar, Udupi and Mangalore which are presently not connected to the gas grid. The pipeline will originate from Jaigarh LNG terminal where re-gasified LNG from LNG terminal will be injected into the pipeline. The length of the proposed Jaigarh-Mangalore pipeline is 635 kms.”
