LNG Sourcing for H-Energy projects
H-Energy through its LNG trading venture in Dubai is creating a LNG portfolio consisting of diverse long/short-term LNG contracts from sources linked to oil/gas price index which will serve customers with varying sourcing needs.
H-Energy is negotiating offers with LNG suppliers for
o Long/ medium-term LNG supplies on FOB/DES basis and Liquefaction tolling contracts starting Q2 2018 for its West Coast project and starting Q12020 for its East Coast project
o MSPA for spot supplies for its West Coast and East Coast project
Gas Marketing in India
H-Energy through its downstream gas marketing company is offering RLNG supply to natural gas consumers from Q2 2018 onwards through its FSRU project located at Jaigarh, Maharashtra on the West cost of India and from Q1 2020 onwards through its offshore Digha FSRU project located in West Bengal on the East coast of India.
RLNG supply contracts of varying tenure:
(a) Gas Sale and Purchase Agreement (GSPA) for supply of RLNG on medium and long-term basis (4-15 year contract)
(b) Gas Sales and Purchase Agreement (GSA) for supply of RLNG on short-term basis (1-3 year contract)
(c) Master Gas Sale and Purchase Agreement for supply of RLNG on spot basis ( less than 1year)
These contracts are available with various pricing options based on oil-linked prices, HH-linked prices, hybrid pricing mechanism and fixed price contracts.
Tolling capacity at Jaigarh LNG terminal
LNG Regasification Tolling Capacity Contracts
H-Energy is offering LNG regasification capacity at Jaigarh FSRU, Maharashtra starting in Q2 2018 for 1.0 MMTPA on short/medium/long term basis. For these regasification contracts H-Energy will act as a terminal operator and the customers will reserve regasification capacity to unload, store and regasify the LNG, offering them the flexibility to source LNG at competitive prices and terms from worldwide sources.
Gas Marketing companies and end users can book regasification capacity in the terminal based on the following principles :
Tolling regasification Agreement for medium/long term tolling capacity on Use or Pay basis.
Business Model :
Tolling Regasification agreement will consist of :
• Terminal Use Agreement (TUA) – Consisting of commercial terms for subscribing re-gasification capacity at the LNG terminal.
• Terminal Access Code (TAC) – Common set of operating rules applicable for all terminal users.
• Inter-User Agreement (IUA) – Rules for lending & borrowing of LNG in tank and co-ordination among terminal users.
Terminal Users will be required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement / Memorandum of Understanding with H-Energy prior to seeking access to definitive agreements.
