LNG Terminals – Kukrahati
Project overview:
H-Energy is setting up a land-based LNG Terminal on 38 acres of land at Kukrahati in the state of West Bengal. The capacity of the terminal is initially 3 MMTPA and shall be expanded to 5 MMTPA in later years. The terminal will have storage tanks with a total capacity of 180,000 m3. Along with this, it will also have two dedicated LNG jetties for berthing and unloading small LNG vessels. Additionally, we are also coming up with truck loading bays for supplying LNG using Cryogenic Road Tankers to those customers who are not connected by gas pipelines. We have already been awarded the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) authorization for the natural gas pipeline which will connect the LNG terminal to the customers in West Bengal and Western Bangladesh. The project is scheduled to be commissioned by 2023.
